There are exciting activities coming up on the garden this Summer…
GARDEN OPEN DAY
The garden gates will open again this year from 2pm – 5pm as part of the National Garden Scheme – a charitable organisation raising money for The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Carers Trust, Hospice UK, Perennial, Parkinson’s UK & other guest charities
Tea and cakes will be available for visitors and residents in aid of the many charities the NGS supports.
Come down and enjoy the garden and the goodies. It’s all for a good cause!
Why not get involved? Either bake a cake or get the kids to make some cakes or biscuits to sell, or help at the gates. If you are able to help please contact Catherine Derrough on email firstname.lastname@example.org or Mary Cameron on email email@example.com
Shakespeare in the Squares
We are delighted to announce that our garden will host this year’s Shakespeare in the Squares production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Tatty Hennessy. Tickets will go on sale in April. Further ticket information and details to follow soon.
SUMMER GARDEN PARTY
Spend time in the sun and with your neighbours at this year’s summer garden party!
Festivities will start at 2:00pm. There will be lots of fun for the whole family, including the annual Elgin vs Arundel Tug-o-War … all followed by live music in the evening, 7.15pm – 11.15pm.
Note: this is the one night of the year when all residents may hold a party in the garden.
