Legal history & background

The conduct of the Garden Committee is governed by an Act of Parliament: the Kensington Improvement Act of 1863. It is further defined by the 1996 Constitution. In addition, the whole of the Ladbroke Estate is a Conservation Area, which affects garden matters like the height of our fences.
